Big Ass Spider Movie

I'm not really sure on how should one process the upcoming sci-fi comedy about a big ass spider destroying Los Angeles but it better be campy. Mike Mendez ( The Gravedancers ) is going to sit as the director of this monster film starring Greg Grunberg (MI3, Hollow Man) and Ray Wise ( Jeepers Creepers II, Excision).

Here's the plot:

“When a giant alien spider escapes from a military lab and rampages across the city of Los Angeles, it is up to one clever exterminator and his security guard sidekick to kill the creature before the entire city is destroyed.”

Clearly, this isn't a film you'd look forward to but with Hollywood churning out their millions to remakes, reboots, sequels and spin offs! This looks like a good reason to save a ticket for March. Big Ass Spider movie will hit theaters on March 8, 2013.

I want to see that big ass spider fight with King Kong!
