Zombies Vs Robots Movie

We really have know idea how this would work but with the zombie genre being pushed by The Walking Dead and the upcoming Zombieland series there may be a future for a futuristic approach to the zombie genre.

When the world is plagued with zombies robots are there to protect the world's last human, an infant girl. The movie is based from the comic book of the same title by Chris Ryall and illustrator Ashley Wood.

Transformers director Michael Bay is attached to the project through his film outfit 'Platinum' but as a producer. I wouldn't want him to direct this anyway but I'm sure he can provide some good futuristic visualizations on the film. If Zombies Vs Robots movie pushes I think it's gonna be worth a try, just like, Warm Bodies or we never know this could rank as the best movies of all time.

Just try to imagine a group of Wall-E's protecting Boo (Monsters Inc) from zombies!

Human Pilots Giant Robots in New Pacific Rim Poster

Director Guillermo del Toro has been hired to helm the movie based on the script by Travis Beacham which will be set in the future where Earth tries to defend itself from an impending war spearheaded by monsters called Kaiju.

Here's the first look of the massive bots called Jaegers.

Plot:
"When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. Robocop Movie Remake (2013)

If there's any cop that will forever remain a childhood memory it's got to be Robocop. While most attempts of reviving this cool character from the past had failed but this time MGM will take responsibility for the rebirth of the most heroic police in history.

Scriptwriter will pen the Robocop remake and the director of the critically acclaimed 2010 Brazilian action film Elite Squad: The Enemy Within has been hired to direct the movie.


Actor Joel Kinnaman whose last three films were Safe House, The Darkest Hour and he also appeared in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Meanwhile, we got ourselves the viral teaser trailer of Robocop film featuring Omnicorp's RC 2000.

M. Night Shyamalan's After Earth Movie

I honestly didn't quite like M. Night Shyamalan's The Village. Although I appreciated every second of The Sixth Sense and Devil, his film The Last Airbender turned my hopes up into gray. He just sucks bigtime recently but with the Father and son team up of Will and Jaden Smith in Shyamalan's Sci-Fi film entitled "After Earth". I'm raising my hopes up again for a worthwhile Shyamalan film.

“In After Earth, one thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape from Earth, Nova Prime has become mankind’s new home. Legendary General Cypher Raige (played by Will Smith) returns from an extended tour of duty to his estranged family, ready to be a father to his 13-year-old son, Kitai (played by Jaden Smith). When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai’s craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. The concept of the film sounds great so I hope they won't waste such a promising movie with an amazing cast! The film is slated to hit theaters next year, 2013.

Star Blazers Movie in the Works!

It sounds like a sci-fi anime series is going to get adapted into the big screen. And it's either Japan's recent live action sci-fi film "Space Battleship Yamato" is going to have a hollywood remake or Hollywood's goin to do a new one and entitle it "Star Blazers" based from the hit anime's US title. Christopher McQuarrie (Writer of Valkyrie movie) is currently working on the script of this upcoming film.

The film adaptation will most likely follow the plot of both the tv series, so here it is.

A starship must make a dangerous voyage to a distant planet and back to save Earth.

Dreamworks' Real Steel Movie (2011)

When the human boxing is outlawed for being too violent, new gladiators were made. With distinct human qualities, robot boxing fighters started to fight in the boxing arena of the champions.

Shawn Levy (who brought us Night at the Museum) is the director of Real Steel.Starring Hugh Jackman as an ex-boxing fighter who became a promoter of robotic boxing.

Plot:
"Hugh Jackman is to play an ex-fighter who becomes a promoter when human boxing is outlawed for being too violent. The new gladiators are 2,000-pound robots with human qualities. The ex-fighter's access to sub-standard robot parts hampers his hopes for glory in Robot Boxing, until he discovers a discarded robot that always seems to win. The ex-fighter has also discovered he's the father of a 13-year old son, and they bond as the robot brawls its way toward the top."

Real Steel is also starring Dakota Goyo, Kevin Durand, Anthony Mackie, Evangeline Lilly, Hope Davis, James Rebhorn, and Olga Fonda. The release date of Real Steel is set for November 18, 2011.

It was two years ago, that Sony have decided to produce a 3rd installment to the hit Men In Black movies. Now, the upcoming Men in Black 3 is said to come out in 3D.Guess, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are going to reprise their roles as Agent J and K! Haha.

Barry Sonnenfeld will also be the director of this film. In fact, around June or July last year a teaser trailer of Men in Black 3 has been unleashed, yet had been taken out online for quite some time. Now, returning on the buzz. The new Men in Black 3D movie is back giving us a whole new out of this world adventure that will be wholeheartedly welcomed by alien freaks!

Rise of the Planet of Apes | A Prequel to Planets of the Ape

A prequel to Tim Burton's Planets of the Ape will shake ever theaters with awesomeness and probably a sequel too. I can't wait to watch the Rise of the Planet of Apes aka Rise of the Apes movie. Yet another astonishing science fiction film about how Apes have gotten their intelligenc, the battle of supremacy between humans and apes and the downfall of humankind.


The movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes will be directed by Rupert Wyatt and the script was written by Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa. The movie will be starring James Franco as a scientist working on a cure for Alzheimer's and his test ape, Caesar. The experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.

The movie is slated to hit theaters by June 24, 2011.

Flash Gordon Movie Remake 2012 in the Works

A movie remake of "Flash Gordon" is in the works and is slated on 2012. The new Flash Gordon movie will be based on a script written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.

Like the first movie, the story follows a football player and his friends travel to the planet Mongo and find themselves fighting the tyrant, Ming the Merciless, to save Earth.

However, Director Breck Eisner wants something new to the film and he said in an interview

"The thing about FLASH is, you’ve got to throw away the 80s version of it. I want it to be intense, aggressive, gritty and real. For me it’s about reinventing FLASH – we’re still staying true to the adventure origins of it, and the adventurous spirit in that movie, absolutely[..]"

This movie sounds like Black Panther and Ironman - they'd be fighting against Chinese-blooded villains. Are Chinese kniwn for being that bad?

I've never really heard of this Biolerplate novel before, but since most movie adaptation of novels have been good then why not crave for something that sounds interesting. Biolerplate movie is an upcoming sci-fi movie that will most likely take us back into the time where the first robot associated with famous people, lead an army and fight on the World War 1.

Director J.J. Abrams have initially took interest on helming this one while there's no official release date yet for Boilerplate movie, the film is listed by IMDb for a release in the year 2013.

Cowboys And Aliens Movie (2011)

If there is any upcoming hollywood flick that excites me it's the upcoming sci-fi western movie entitled "Cowboys And Aliens".I'm not a sci-fi fan nor have I gone crazy watching cowboy films but to mix this two genre (Western and Sci-fi) together in the film "Cowboys And Aliens movie" could have a potential of being an interesting flick.

I'm not sure if there had been any movie with these two genres merged together but I guess this Cowboys And Aliens film, if ever will become successful, will make this genre be as on demand as romantic vampire movies.

The director of Cowboys and Aliens is Jon Favreau.In an interview with Comingsoon, he explained why he want to direct the movie and wants it to push through:

“The Property [Cowboys and Aliens movie] isn’t what was appealing to me as much as the concept and the script. I read a great script and I loved the idea of mashing up those two genres and juxtaposing a very intense alien movie up against a very sincerely played Western. We draw inspiration tonally from movies like ‘Close Encounters’ and ‘Alien’ and ‘Predator’ for the alien side and for the Western side we’re looking at John Ford, Leone, and even a little bit of ‘Butch and Sundance.’
Once again, I’ve been very lucky in exceeding all my expectations in getting Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde. We’re slowly assembling a cast around this property, and I want to do something mind-blowing and it’s a great way to do a Western. I’ve always dreamed of doing a Western, and this seems like a way that’s actually responsible from a marketing standpoint, doing an alien invasion Western seems like something very unique and different in the summer next year, which is going to be all superhero movies and sequels. Seems like an exciting thing that might actually emerge as something unique and different. It’s a fun ride and it’s a chance to do something that plays a little bit older and a little bit more fun.”
