The Amazing Spider-man is amazingly exceeding everyone's expectation including critics 5 years after Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 didn't deliver an amazing story.
While the last installment of the Tobey Maguire-starrer Spider-man franchise netted almost $900 million at the worldwide box office, the reboot starring Andrew Garfield is also starting to web millions worth of ticket sales from allover the globe.
Since its early release in Asia, The Amazing Spider-man box office gross can be summed up for about $50 million. Early screenings in Europe didn't seem quite amazing though especially that only in Germany, Spider-man manage to reach the million mark.
Sony spent a reported $220 million for the reboot of Spider-man, and based on the latest box office results from different parts of the world they will be needing more buzz going on for The Amazing Spider-man film.
Although we never though, this might just be like The Avengers. They thought that was just going to gross $125 million, and look what happened? The Aveners surpassed the $200 million mark and has the number one domestic opening weekend ever. More so, Marvel comics fans and people who are still blown away by The Avengers might be anticipating for The Avengers or even just Nick Fury to appear on the movie.
The Amazing Spider-Man is set to open on Tuesday in the U.S. Seriously, buy a ticket now!
