Logan's Run Movie Remake 2012

What's worse than getting sacrificed when you turn to a certain age? Set in a dystopian future, Warner Brothers is prepping a remake of the 1976 movie "Logan's Run".The upcoming Logan's Run movie remake is listed on IMDB  for a 2012 release.

Sometime in the 23rd century...the survivors of war, overpopulation and pollution are living in a great domed city, sealed away from the forgotten world outside. Here, in an ecologically balanced world, mankind lives only for pleasure, freed by the servo-mechanisms which provide everything. There's just one catch: Life must end at thirty unless reborn in the fiery ritual of carrousel.

Well, to be honest - this now considered to be cult classic cannot just be remade. But since the matchbox effects they applied on the movie back then sucks! Obviously, maybe we can afford to watch a scifi film of this type in theaters.

No news about who's billing the lead roles yet! But we'll keep you posted.
