Judge Dredd Movie (2012) Update!

The new Judge Dredd movie is an upcoming 2012 science fiction anthology based on the comic strip of the same title.According to reports, say rumors, Karl Urban is set to cast as "Judge Joseph Dredd".The film is directed by Pete Travis.People had been speculating what would be the new Judge Dredd movie be like.To whether it is a new one with a whole new story or a remake of the 1995 movie by Sylvester Stallone - you will now get an answer to that!

The upcoming movie is definitely not going to be a sequel of the so acclaimed crappy sci-fi action film of 1995 which flopped at the box office.But still, will be based from the original story on the comics mixed together with the script by Alex Garland (28 DAYS LATER, SUNSHINE, the unmade HALO film).The movie is said to be in 3D.Interestingly, The budget for JUDGE DREDD is about $50 Million.

One man is Judge, Jury, AND Executioner.And that's precisely the tag line of the movie.Well for that, I think the movie is going to be interesting than the previous one! What do you think?
