Much Ado About New Joss Whedon Film 'Much Ado About Nothing'

There's much ado about Nathan Fillion today at Google Plus that we found out about Joss Whedon's newest film after the epic The Avengers and Cabin in the Woods movie. And now there's much ado about this new Joss Whedon film! This time around though Whedon is up for a romantic comedy film based on a play by William Shakespeare. It is entitled 'Much Ado About Nothing' which is about two pairs of lovers with different takes on romance and a way with words.

Being a Whedon fan myself, I think this romcom is going to be a great one. I'm not really a fan of Shakespeare but with Whedon on the director's spotlight I'm giving this a try when it gets released.

The movie is starring Nathan Fillion of course, there's Amy Acker, Alex Denisof, Ashley Johnson, Clark Gregg, Sean Maher, Fran Kranz, Tom Lenk and Riki Lindhome. While completed last year, Much Ado About Nothing movie is set for a June 21st release this year. But it will have a limited theatrical release so others will have to wait for its Bluray release.

Check out the trailer of Much Ado About Nothing!

Quvenzhané Wallis Stars in Annie Movie Remake

Quvenzhané Wallis is perhaps the most charming child star today. After her Oscar-worthy debut in Beasts of the Southern Wild, she's set to take the role of Annie. After weeks of being in the rumor mill, finally Columbia Pictures announced that Wallis will indeed take te role in the upcoming remake of the famous musical. She was however the second choice, since the producers of this film (Will and Jada Smith) have their daughter Willow Smith to play the role.

 Plot:
"An orphan, Annie, and her dog Sandy are placed in the lap of luxury for a week as a part of a publicity campaign for Oliver Warbucks. However, Annie's stay turns out to be much more than anyone had bargained for as she works her way into everyone’s hearts and learns a few things for herself."

The story is based on a 1930s comic strip called 'Little Orphan Annie'. This remake is going to be directed by Will Gluck (Easy A) from a script by Emma Thompson which was later rewritten by Aline Brosh McKenna. The remake is expected to start this Fall for a mid 2014 release.

The book was funny, especially the illustrations, so with the first movie and the second was a whole lot better. I've been a fan of Wimpy Kid movie since then and now, as they go through the next film. Wimpy Kid 3 Movie is surely going to be as funny as the previous Wimpy Kid movies.

The Rum Diary Movie (2011)

It's nice not to see Johnny Depp in a non-Tim Burton film once in a while. While I can't wait for his film Dark Shadows, to see him portraying the best drunkard in the world is perhaps a relief of seeing him living in the real world.

So, here's Johnny Depp's upcoming adventure drama film entitled "The Rum Diary". Based from the novel of Hunter S. Thompson, The Rum Diary movie follows Paul Kemp (Johnny Depp), a divorced alcoholic and struggling novelist who decides to kick around in San Juan until his ship comes in, working as a journalist for a newspaper that’s on its last legs, drinking gallons of rum and experimenting with LSD. With his new friend Bob Sala by his side, Kemp becomes entangled in a corrupt hotel development scheme with a slick PR consultant named Sanderson.

The Rum Diary also stars Richard Jenkins,Amber Heard and Aaron Eckhart. Directed by Bruce Robinson. The Rum Diary, from its get-go seems to be one of the most amazing film. We mostly see boozers run down any alley on our walks but we don't know how they end up like that.

The film that has absolutely Nothing in Moderation! Catch The Rum Diary in Theaters this October 28, 2011!

True North Movie 2012

The director of the 2004 film Our time is up, Rob Pearlstein will come back to direct the comedy movie which he also wrote, entitled "True North".The movie "True North", will in fact be top-billed by The Hangover's Stu, Ed Helms!

True North movie will focus on a workaholic father to be played by Ed Helms who slips into a two-year coma after suffering through a horrific plane crash. (I wonder how he had survived?) So anyway, upon emerging form the coma, the once debonair man finds that he has undergone reconstructive facial surgery and looks nothing like his former self. He then must track down his family and reconnect with his former life.

So in that case, aside from the movie belonging under the comedy genre we might as well expected this to have at least a heartbreaking moment since it's all hard to accept that nobody knows you.Personally, the plot given deals with serious matter that it actually has a potential to become a maudlin plea.

It sounds like the comedic version of Unknown, it's like taking your life back after an accident movie.

I wonder who will play is his former self though. More updates soon so stay tuned!

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Movie Update!

Here's an update for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Movie!! Elizabeth Bennett's role is still open for anyone who wishes to get her hands on some nasty flesh eating zombies. Actress Emma Stone, who was reported to play the role of Elizabeth passed on the role in 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,' according to Deadline.

However, they didn't quote any source or any reason why Emma passed on Elizabeth Bennett's role. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is the dark, say crazy gory and undead interpretation of the film and novel Pride and Prejudice. This time around zombies will be taking over mortals during the Georgian era.

The movie is listed under development on IMDB but the release date is slated on the year 2013. Yes that's quite a long time from now! Anyway, Mike White will direct Pride and Prejudice and Zombies movie. No cast was announced but having Natalie Portman on the producer's chair would somehow make us think she'll do a cameo on this one.

“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains.” So begins Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, an expanded edition of the beloved Jane Austen novel featuring all-new scenes of bone-crunching zombie mayhem. As our story opens, a mysterious plague has fallen upon the quiet English village of Meryton—and the dead are returning to life! Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is determined to wipe out the zombie menace, but she's soon distracted by the arrival of the haughty and arrogant Mr. Darcy. What ensues is a delightful comedy of manners with plenty of civilized sparring between the two young lovers—and even more violent sparring on the blood-soaked battlefield. Can Elizabeth vanquish the spawn of Satan? And overcome the social prejudices of the class-conscious landed gentry? Complete with romance, heartbreak, swordfights, cannibalism, and thousands of rotting corpses, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies transforms a masterpiece of world literature into something you'd actually want to watch!

More updates about who will be Elizabeth Bennett on this zombie movie! Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!!

Who do you think will be suited for the role of Elizabeth?

Horrible Bosses Trailer

Change Up is yet to be released but Jason Bateman's upcoming comedy entitled "Horrible Bosses" might just give some really good laughs than the latter. For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers...permanently. There's only one problem: even the best laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.

Impatient to see the movie Horrible Bosses on July 29.
